I have been planning on making this recipe for a long time, and I’ll be honest, my only regret is not doing it sooner. It turned out so dang good. I ate all 12 guacamole deviled eggs myself, lol. I know, I know, but they were that good, and I decided to make them when I didn’t have anyone around to help me with the taste-testing process.
Well, that and I decided to make them before I had breakfast. Thankfully they are fairly healthy—I mean, avocados are the healthy fat and low calorie. I did the math, and all 12 of the deviled eggs only have about 550-ish calories, and of course it’s super carb-friendly, high protein, all the stuff. So I certainly could have splurged on something worse, right?

Holy Guacamole Deviled Eggs
Don’t let the ingredients discourage you, it looks like a long list but most of them are seasonings.
Ingredients
- Hard boiled eggs
- Avocado
- Sour cream
- Smoked paprika
- Onion powder
- Ground cumin
- Cayenne pepper
- Black pepper
- Garlic salt
- Dried cilantro
- Jalapeño finely diced
- Onion (I used yellow, but white would also be great)
- Grape tomatoes
- Fresh lime
Directions
Cut your hard-boiled eggs in half and remove the yolks. Move the egg whites to the side for later.

Place three of the hard-boiled egg yolks into a medium-sized bowl with the peeled and pitted avocado and seasonings. Mash and mix them together until they are well combined and reach a creamy consistency.
Add sour cream, then mix until the filling is nice, creamy, and well combined.

Finely dice your onion, grape tomatoes, and jalapeños. Add them to the avocado mixture and stir to combine.

Fill your hard boiled eggs whites using a piping bag and frosting tip; it’s easy peasy and makes them look fancy. You can find piping bags all over the place, but if you are looking to save a little money on them I like looking for piping bags on Amazon. If you are strapped for time you can always grab piping bags from Walmart.

Finally, garnish with a slice of jalapeño and a dash of smoked paprika, then enjoy!
