Course Dessert, Snack, Sweets
- 1 2.5 ounce bag Original Bugles
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
Prep your space: Lay out a large piece of parchment paper on your counter and spread your Bugles out in an even layer.
Heat the base: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the corn syrup and sugar.
Boil: Bring the mixture to a gentle boil and let it cook for about 1 minute—just keep a close eye on it so it doesn't burn!
Mix in the PB: Remove the pan from the heat and quickly stir in the peanut butter until it’s smooth and well combined.
Coat the Bugles: Pour the warm mixture over the Bugles and gently toss them with a spatula until every single one is coated.
Cool and set: Allow them to cool completely.
Pro-tip: I highly recommend popping these in the fridge to set—they taste so much better when they’re nice and chilled!
Also, this recipe is heavy on the peanut butter mixture, so if you prefer a more balanced sweet to salty flavor, I suggest cutting everything down to 1/4 or 1/3 cup and keeping the amount of Bugles the same.
